Arrival at Linaria coincided with the 08.00 (large) ferry leaving the small quay. The place was a hive of activity as lorries (with goats or huge blocks of marble), vans, cars and pedestrians were loaded aboard. A port policeman showed us where best to moor and I was requested to report to the Port Police office at 09.00 hrs to show the ships' papers, provide a crew list and pay port dues.

In the picture above one Skiros van driver is taking no chances!

We are taking a rest day and will carry onto the main islands of the Northern Sporades in a day or so.

In the picture below Tirla can be seen moored just astern of the Greek Coastguard's rescue boat. The large spare area of quay is fully taken up by the islands ferry boat.
