Not a good day, one of my very few Aunts died last night after a long illness. Being absent at such times is one of the heavy prices we pay for our way of life. In a sense it is very selfish in respect of ones aging near relatives. However Fae and I went to her and her husband's 60th wedding anniversary in 1999. Now they are both gone.

On a very much more minor note we discovered both engines would only run for a few seconds when we tried them today. The starboard engine was a known problem after the fishing net incident. The port engine should have been fine, it got us here having run for several hours. Indeed even at low tick over as I maneuvered and docked on that one engine it was fine. If it had stopped then we would have had a real problem. Currently I'm baffled as to what is the cause. We may have to go 50 miles to Volos if we need expert attention and Yamaha spares. That would be a trip without engine power.
