06.30
The local fishing boat next to us is preparing to leave the quay. She filled with ice last night. The owner, his wife and son seem to be going fishing. I watch as I have my third rope anchor near his, he came in after us. Yes his anchor and ours are nicely entwined. However he knows exactly what to do. I release ours, he pulls it out by slightly going ahead dragging his anchor. He hoists them up, separates mine and relays it, we wave, he smiles, I go back to bed, they go to earn a living. The sea outside is still rough but due to calm down this afternoon.
08.30 The small French charter yacht is leaving, I watch, they wave I go back to bed again!
09.30 Breakfast and we decide to stay in port and walk up to the old hill village. This village was destroyed by a huge earthquake 20 odd years ago.
