We expect to leave tomorrow, but first one more meal tonight in our favourite taverna in Patitri!
I have run both engines today and they still seem fine but I will take some time before I feel confident in them again.

We sailed and motored to this beautiful unspoilt wooded bay on Skopelos. We are laying to two anchors and two ropes ashore. On is round a pine tree the other a chain loop around a rock. We have been here for two very still days! There were two yachts at anchor when we arrived, a live aboard and a charter yacht. Both have left. Opposite us is the house of Michael Carrol who wrote "Gates of the Wind" which tells of these islands just pre tourism.
The scenery is idyllic and very few tourists come here till August yet the temperature is perfect now and the sea just warm enough to swim in.

Tirla can just be seen nestled deep in an inlet within the Panormou bay.
