Panormou bay is exceedingly attractive with pines down to the sea and shallow coves with marble shingle beaches. As pretty a spot as one could wish for. On the main beach are several small Tavernas sleepily awaiting the August gold rush! 



It was a great pleasure to show Michael Carroll our boat while we were anchored opposite the house he built in the 1960's. He helped me get new fuel from Skopelos town and we are now proud owners of a signed copy of his book about the islands "Gates of the Wind". I was happy to give in return a ships "cup" with Tirla's silhouette and logo emblazoned on it!
